Just to clear things up, this should be F2P enough for people who have been playing for a while already. This method is definitely NOT Beginner Friendly, but it IS F2P.
You guys have been begging me to do use Kahili, Skyla, and Phoebe to try and finish the Time Trial Event. I learned that this method actually came from Zinfogel, but since Phoebe is a 5-Star Sync Pair from scouting, I decided to explore other options. The most F2P friendly Sync Pair (or Pokemon) we have is Torchic, so we use him here. Maylene could be a replacement though.
Here’s a cut version of my livestream earlier where I try and finish the Time Trial Event under 2 minutes (and actually succeed). You’ll see me freak out twice here—one in the worst way possible, and one for the complete opposite!
