Ho-Oh is~~~ exactly the same as before. Still nothing spectacular, doesn’t deal too much damage, can’t survive too many hits, can’t function at all without sun. It just does the same thing with stats that are alittle bit better than before. But Johto was my first region and Pokemon Gold was my first Pokemon game so I’ve always had a soft spot for Ho-Oh.
Ho-Oh is always gonna be paired Meganium as she’s the best sun setter now. Charging Sun and Speeding Sun is what makes Ho-Oh functional. Meganium proceeds to buff, Torterra proceeds to tank. Ho-Oh needs a grid. At least we’re heading towards the right direction. Other than that, Battle Villa has seriously been power crept. I wasn’t even trying and I reached hall 30 on the first day.
