In today’s video we are taking a look at the newly improved Roserade featuring the double legacy moves of Bullet Seed and Weather Ball (Fire) which were obtainable from evolving Roselia during the February 7, 2021 Pokemon GO Community Day.
With the addition of Weather Ball Roserade becomes a viable option for the Ultra League, especially with Bullet Seed generating energy so quickly. Roserade also has access to a very unique pool of other charged moves including Sludge Bomb, Grass Knot and Dazzling Gleam, all of which can be used for the specific coverage you need.
In this video I am utilizing Grass Knot which is a very powerful move and hits hard with STAB. Sludge Bomb was also a tempting option and even Dazzling Gleam would be decent for some coverage against Dragonite for example.
I am showcasing Roserade in this video with a pretty spicy team full of heavy attack, making it a sort of triple glass cannon line with Gengar and Machamp in the lead. I am utilizing Gengar as a safe-switch with Focus Blast, hoping to catch opponents off-guard when switching in Umbreon, Snorlax or Obstagoon to hard-counter the Gengar. This team clearly would struggle against Confusion users, Gallade in particular could cause major issues. Even so, we are going to test it out and see what kind of damage this team can do.
In this video we use a team consisting of: Machamp (Counter, Cross Chop, Rock Slide), Roserade (Bullet Seed*, Weather Ball [Fire]*, Grass Knot) & Gengar (Shadow Claw, Shadow Punch*, Focus Blast).
* denotes Legacy move (may require Elite TM).
