Pokemon Masters – Champion Stadium – Master Mode Unova #2 – F2P Friendly (7500 pts)

Champion Stadium – Unova Master Mode #2 – F2P Friendly (F2P Friendly = No 5* gacha units)

Bug and Dark are awkward types for F2P friendly. The other types have good F2P representation though, so overall it was quite an average week in terms of difficulty.

1) Marshall (0:00)
2) Caitlin (2:33)
3) Grimsley (6:53)
4) Shauntal (9:55)
5) Iris (12:22)

1) Marshall – Mewtwo (5/5, 20/20), Mew (5*, 5/5), Torchic (4*)
We grab the physical damage reduction parameter to help us out, and then just spam Psychic. Gets a bit tight but with decent targeting and gauge management, should be quite simple.

Grids: Not really relevant, Mew can go for a defensive / evasion build to make it more consistent though.
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction (50), Attack & Sp. Atk +1 (50), No Status Conditions (50), Sync Buff +5 (100), Attack & Sp. Atk +3 (100), No Stat Reduction (100), Ally Healing -5 (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Gradual Healing (150), Max HP +4 (200), Power on Hit 2 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300)

2) Caitlin – Seviper, Ariados, Starmie (5*, 3/5)
Dark type is awkward for F2P runs, so we fall back to toxic stalling. Even though Caitlin has Lessen Poison 9 and Lessen Trap 9, it ends up being easy if you use the stage parameter.

Grids: Starmie goes for healing / ridicure.
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction (50), Special Dmg. Reduction (50), Attack & Sp. Atk +1 (50), Defense & Sp. Def +1 (50), Defense & Sp. Def +3 (100), Max HP +2 (100), Critical-Hit Defense (150), Defense & Sp. Def +5 (150), Max HP +4 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300), Max HP +6 (300)

3) Grimsley – Egg Scyther (5*), Serperior (6EX, 2/5), Onix (4*, 3/5)
Hardest battle this week, but Egg Scyther can get the job done. Serperior supports and gives the 6EX boost, while Onix’s Group Therapy gets rid of the paralysis. It’s a tight battle and there is a decent amount of RNG needed. Left side uses Icy Wind so that’s the priority after killing off mid. Without Egg Scyther, probably have to toxic stall, or just use a 5 star bug striker like Golisopod or Leavanny.

Grids: Serperior goes for MP Refresh and defensive nodes. Onix goes for Group Therapy and Potion nodes.
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction (50), Max Sync Countdown -1 (50), No Status Conditions (50), Sync Buff +5 (100), Max HP +2 (100), No Stat Reduction (100), Ally Healing -5 (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Gradual Healing (150), Max Sync Countdown -2 (200), Power on Hit 2 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300)

4) Shauntal – Palkia (5/5, 20/20), Xerneas (5/5, 20/20), Pelipper
Since I don’t have EX Barry, Palkia is the next best option. As usual, we need to use Spacial Rend to activate Critical Focus. Xerneas gets us to +6 sp. atk and +6 speed, which allows you to 2 hit mid under rain, and 1 hit the sides after taking out the main.

Grids: Critical Focus, Ramming Speed, Hydro Pump power and accuracy.
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction (50), Special Dmg. Reduction (50), No Status Conditions (50), Sync Buff +5 (100), Attack & Sp. Atk +3 (100), No Stat Reduction (100), Ally Healing -5 (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Gradual Healing (150), Max Sync Countdown -2 (200), Power on Hit 2 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300)

5) Iris – Solgaleo (5/5, 20/20), Swanna (6EX, 5/5), Medicham (4*)
The stage parameter screams Solgaleo. The 6EX boost lets us go for the fast kill, and Medicham provides crit support. I would guess that Lucario could work too, but you would need to go for a sync-less kill, since Iris puts up crit shield after first sync.

Grids: Swanna goes for standard healing build.
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction (50), Attack & Sp. Atk +1 (50), No Status Conditions (50), Sync Buff +5 (100), Attack & Sp. Atk +3 (100), Max HP +2 (100), No Stat Reduction (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Gradual Healing (150), Max Sync Countdown -2 (200), Power on Hit 2 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300)
