Champion Stadium – Kanto Master Mode (May 2021 Week 3) – F2P Friendly
Last week was one of the worst week for F2P runs, and this week is one of the easiest weeks for F2P runs.
1) Lorelei (0:00)
2) Bruno (2:31)
3) Agatha (5:21)
4) Lance (8:03)
5) Blue (10:43)
1) Lucario (5*, 3/5), Egg Primeape (4*), Cryogonal
Cryogonal can survive the sync and stall for a few turns afterward. He can also Haze the evasion buffs away which helps a bit with consistency. The focal point of the battle though is Power Reserves. Once the crit shield goes away, you should be able to get 2-3 PR5 boosted Close Combats, which should be enough to take out the middle. After that, the sides should go down in 1 hit. Obviously will need to tune the parameters so you are in PR range after their sync.
Grids: Close Combat nodes, Power Reserves 5, Berserker
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction (50), Special Dmg. Reduction (50), No Status Conditions (50), Sync Buff +5 (100), Attack & Sp. Atk +3 (100), Max HP +2 (100), Ally Healing -5 (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Gradual Healing (150), Max Sync Countdown -2 (200), Power on Hit 2 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300)
2) Empoleon (5*, 3/5), Serperior (6EX, 2/5), Pelipper
This sort of relies on MPR and sync crit, but it’s not too bad in terms of consistency. Serperior’s 6EX boost with Rain + Inertia allows Barry to one shot mid. The sides are a bit of a threat, but you should be able to tank 1-2 EQs or Rock Slide. Main concern here is getting flinched, which has an increased chance from the stage parameter.
Grids: Inertia, MPR, Ramp Up, Bubblebeam
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction (50), Special Dmg. Reduction (50), No Status Conditions (50), Sync Buff +5 (100), Attack & Sp. Atk +3 (100), No Stat Reduction (100), Ally Healing -5 (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Gradual Healing (150), Max HP +4 (200), Power on Hit 2 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300)
3) Kyurem (20/20, 5/5), Dewgong (4*, 3/5), Probopass (4*)
Surprisingly an effective team. Gauge management is key here, and the main idea is to go for a nuke build with Kyurem. Noble Roar + Double Drop activates Pecking Order, while Icy Wind activates Kyurem’s sync bonus. Probopass goes down fast but gives you some nice buffs, particularly speed. Kyurem is such a fun unit to work with, and in general I’m a fan of these tech strikers. Sort of like a lesser version of Champion Iris, and also has unique Ice type coverage.
Grids: Kyurem goes for Pecking Order, Double Drop, Sync Nodes. Dewgong goes for Icy Wind MGR and Accuracy.
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction (50), Special Dmg. Reduction (50), Attack & Sp. Atk +1 (50), Sync Buff +5 (100), Ally Healing -5 (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Gradual Healing (150), Max Sync Countdown -2 (200), Max HP +4 (200), Power on Hit 2 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300)
4) Solgaleo (20/20, 5/5), Swanna (6EX, 2/5), Medicham (4*)
Pretty standard, just use 6EX Swanna and spam Sunsteel Strike. Medicham for crit support.
Grids: Standard Healing build.
Parameters: Special Dmg. Reduction (50), Attack & Sp. Atk +1 (50), No Status Conditions (50), Sync Buff +5 (100), Attack & Sp. Atk +3 (100), Max HP +2 (100), No Stat Reduction (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Gradual Healing (150), Ally HP -5 (200), Power on Hit 2 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300)
5) Crobat (3/5), Weezing, Torchic (4*)
Simple battle with 3/5 Crobat. Nuke mid and clean out the sides.
Grids: Standard nuke build
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction (50), Special Dmg. Reduction (50), Attack & Sp. Atk +1 (50), Sync Buff +5 (100), Attack & Sp. Atk +3 (100), Max HP +2 (100), Ally Healing -5 (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Gradual Healing (150), Max HP +4 (200), Power on Hit 2 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300)
