This is automatically my favorite EBE in the game since it rightfully calls Wally “Hoenn’s best.”
Both Wally and Zinnia have physical and special moves, which means that they’re usable in both of the Battle Hoenn’s Best EBEs. I think Zinnia’s stage is more difficult since there are a lot more AOE moves to deal with there, but I’d rank these two stages around the first Johto EBE (the one with the accuracy debuffs). They’re a bit more demanding than the Team Galactic admin one but I think they’re easier than Ethan’s second one (the one with the constant sun).

Best boy duel! With this stage favoring Defense debuffs, Brawly gets to show off his new grid, and Wally just so happens to share the type skill with him. Roxanne completes the team with her (almost) omni-buffs, and while she doesn’t complete Wally’s Attack buffs, her defensive ones are very much appreciated to mitigate the self-debuffs from Close Combat.

I think this stage was also made with Zinnia’s new EX in mind since it favors special moves, and while Lisia also fits the bill she doesn’t have the AOE sync move to take care of the sides. She gets the weather from SS Morty, who critically provides both crit buffs and heals to keep the team healthy. Roxanne once again completes the team with her omni-buffs, and I relied on her trainer move MPR a lot here since I’ve already changed Zinnia’s lucky skill to Weathered Warrior 3, which means I need to deal with the self-debuffs from Draco Meteor.

The most difficult clear to get here. I was initially trying to do this with Liza since that lets Zinnia not use her trainer move, but I was always one or two moves away from completing the stage since Liza goes down to the Cacturne’s Seed Bomb. So I switched to Drake, and while that meant I had to use Zinnia’s trainer move, his defensive buffs can cancel the drawback. The type skill bonus is nice too. Ingo completes the team with his crit buffs, sand, and heals, and his sand was actually very important so that I could take advantage of its recoil with Drake to get those free turns.

A usable Hoenn trio team!!! Any of May’s other limited alts would also work here I think, but Spring May is the only one I have, and she does have the benefit of giving Speed buffs for Wally’s Ramming Speed and Potions of extra insurance. I got SS Brendan on the sixth multi, which was three more than I was planning to do. His kit is really nice though, and I do hope I get more dupes of him as that Team Sharp Entry 1 tile looks nice.
