Today is the start of the weather cup and open ultra league. Weather Cup is an ultra league (2500CP) cup limited to water, fire, ice, and rock. Although this is not a mono type league, there are still some issues with this cup, including requirements for XL pokemon, duo typings dominating the meta, and dropping a bunch of rare candies into legendary pokemon.
