It’s gonna be a hard no for me on this. So glad Persona 5 came to switch. I’m gonna just play that instead this holiday break.
I’m a lifelong fan of the games, and I was barely able to find the good from SW/SH.
These just look atrocious at best.

I feel like they should do more focused videos, perhaps one on the story, another on the areas and then something for the new monsters. There are just too many random trailers dropping for this.

I stopped watching the trailers a while ago since I already know I’m getting it. Sure, it doesn’t look the best graphics-wise but the gameplay looks interesting! I mostly enjoy seeing the new types of Pokemon they come up with lol

I’m honestly sort of confused by what’s been going on with Pokemon since the Switch came out, maybe someone can help me out. So we had the “go” remakes of the original games aimed at a younger audience, got it. Then we got Sword and Shield, mainline games (imo not great ones) that came out just a few years ago, and then Arceus, which I didn’t play but I thought was a mainline game that was kind of a new direction for the series? That just came out this year! Now there are two new games I guess in the more traditional style of pokemon? That just seems like a lot of Pokemon and I don’t get the point. Is this going to be closer to Sword and Shield in style? If so, what is Arceus? Just a random side experiment?

Honestly getting a bit tried of all of these “new” pokemon trailers. Most have been about the same info over and over again with just a wee bit more info but even then it’s minimal.
I’m not saying I dislike pokemon but the way they drip feed info sucks.

After the Nintendo life report on the performance I am completely skipping this one unless things significantly change either by release or by patch after the fact

Nintendo Life’s impressions video changed my mind on this. I was going to give it a go despite getting tired of the standard gym formula, but it sounds as if the performance is unforgivably terrible which is a shame. Maybe if they patch it later down the line I’ll give it another look. Unacceptable really

Gonna be the same as with Arceus for this for me, can’t gamble on Pokémon these days. I was braced for Arceus to be bad because of how rough it looked pre-launch and the good reviews got me to try it. Hoping for the same here but not holding my breath unfortunately.

Am I tripping or are they hella trying hard marketing this game? I could understand why didn’t do it as much for Arceus but I don’t remember SwSh getting as much trailer, preview, etc.

Arceus was a good game, with the last pokemon game I played being silver but idk if I can do another full game of ds graphics at 20fps
