if you get this game for like 10 or 15 bucks, its pretty fun
do not pay full price
I got the platinum trophy in less than 8 hours, and that wasnt an action packed fun 8 hours. its a lot of running down empty copy-pasted hallways, whether those hallways are in a forest, an empty house, or an empty town. I mean literally empty. not just of people but of objects or things to interact with. just desolate.
combat is okay but pretty spammy and I would say even more simplistic than the 3d naruto games. most of the characters feel the EXACT same. a few are a little different, but most of the characters really have nothing to differentiate them except the element/color of their spinny sword attacks.
most of the story is a slog and basically a much worse retelling of the manga or anime. like if a 5 year old child gave you a recap of demon slayer. with lots of “ummmms” and “uhhh” and awkward pauses. thats basically what you get.
if you’re a super hardcore diehard demon slayer fan, yea buy it. its more of the franchise you love. not a lot more, not a good more. but… more.
for normal fans/not diehard fans: 5/10
non-fans: 2/10
hardcore fans: 6/10
