>Bravery and Greed is available now on Nintendo Switch.
>Bravery and Greed is a beat ’em up, roguelite, dungeon brawler for up to four players. Choose from four classic fantasy classes, engage in a deep robust combat system, and play a variety of co-operative and competitive game modes with friends via local, online or both.

I really want the game, but I NEED to know if performance is good. Especially online co-op.

Tl;dr: Hard pass until the game gets patched if it does get one.
I have now played the game for like 4 hours now online and I’ve got to say it’s not looking good. Me and my friend have had multiple crashes, usually after failing a run, but before netting whatever rewards we got. Although this last crash happened upon trying to save and quit. So basically the crashes ruin any chance to get any perma-upgrade you get after finishing a run.
No idea whether this is an issue on other consoles or just the Switch. As it stands, I have to go against recommending this game, which is a shame because it otherwise runs fine aside from a single instance of framerate drop due to a lot happening on screen
I was really looking forward to this game which is why I got it blind and I hope the devs patch it up. Lesson learned, don’t fall for the hype and ALWAYS wait for reviews.
Update: So that last run did save after all. But on the run afterwards, my friend’s game crashed after we died. And now, the game has frozen on the loading screen after the title screen… Twice. Currently moving the software from the SD card to the Switch itself and restarting the system to see if it helps. For the love of all that is fun, patch this game.
Update 2: I’ve done about two solo runs and the experience seems better. Will need to keep playing to see if that’s really the case and the issues are confined to online multiplayer. It’s still a dealbreaker for me since online co-op was the reason to play the game.

Is the crashing than online co-op problem that would be mitigated by couch/in person co-op?
