    Oof now that’s a close race between GOW and Xenoblade.

    Both have really fantastic scores. I honestly couldn’t make a call which I prefer to be honest.

    I can remember like 3 tracks from this game. Huge disappointment compared to 1 and 2’s god-tier soundtracks

    Let’s be real here: God Of War is going to win in every single category it was nominated in. Sony paid a lot of money for that shit.

    It should win this category. Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s OST is my favorite one out of the series. The way the composers use leitmotifs in different emotional contexts is perfect. It has some of the best battle themes in the series as well.

    I picked up Metroid Dread on a whim when it was $30. I don’t like metroidvanias. I have a small unfinished pile. But Metroid Dread is one of the absolute best games I’ve ever played. It’s astounding. I’m still salty it didn’t get nominated for GOTY.

    Honestly – the soundtrack of Xenoblade 3 was not that memorable or great., especially when compared to the first and especially second game. I’m not saying it was horrible but I’d be surprised if it won best score & music.
