Great game, going for full completion can get a bit tedious but the dev team has been rebalancing and patching the game actively according to feedback since release on PC. I’m sure the switch version is gonna be a definitive experience!

FINALLY. I got the first one around when Markiplier made a video playing the Second game, but i didnt play it as much as i would have liked because 2 looked waaaaaaay better. So glad i can finally get into it

I played this on PC and it’s excellent. It improved on the original in many ways, particularly making the classes more distinct.

Really fantastic roguelike. I played through on Steam Deck so I can’t speak towards performance here.
If you liked the first, this improves on it in every way. It can get a little grindy, but the multiple classes help there.

Played this for about 100 hours on PC. Would HIGHLY reccomend. It has a similar “endless progression” system like Hades does, all in a metroidvania package with really tight and satisfying controls. Definitely a game that deserves more attention.

Man the switch is murdering my wallet lately with so many awesome games. I played this game so much on steam it was one of my favorites this year. I remember wishing it would be on switch so I could play on my recliner and here we are! Buy this game guys it truly is excellent.

Color me surprised.
Not only for the shadow drop but for a Switch port dropping this soon after the initial release on PC. I saw the devs over on the Steam forums talking about what a monumental undertaking the Xbox port was and how they wouldn’t be looking to any more consoles for a long, long time. They were playing us all along.
I was thinking about getting this for PC once I clear out my Steam backlog, but it’s great to know I can get it on my Switch instead. Ever since I picked up Dead Cells on the Switch, it has become my portable rogue-like/rogue-lite machine. It’s easy to bang out a run or two in those types of games when I’m waiting in a doctor’s office or the like.
