Honestly. Do people still play these?
Edit: wasn’t trying to come off as an ass. I legit just don’t hear about this anymore, from like anyone. That’s why I asked.
They changed the E. Honda background in Street Fighter 2, because rising sun iconography does not sit well with the Chinese. Understandable, as the Japanese were rather ruthless to other Asian countries during World War II.
I still don’t understand why Capcom split this into two releases, when they are the *exact same launcher* just with different games included. And good luck remembering which collection has which specific game you want to play. It just seems like such a weird choice.
Random question for whoever can answer:
I heard that the Capcom Fighting Collection (another compilation that has a lot of overlap with this one) added color blindness options for Puzzle Fighter. Did that make it into this Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium? The similar coloring (to me) for a couple of the jewels has always kept me from really getting into Puzzle Fighter. Interestingly, I rarely have this problem with color-coded puzzle games. But Puzzle Fighter picked just the right tone for two of the colors (green and yellow IIRC) to make them completely indistinguishable for me…
