Noctowl is definitely amazing. Charizard though with wing attack has been MVP. It’s so versatile now getting to dragon claw and blast burn quicker changes everything.

I can see a Bastiodon/Medicham/Sableye line being even more popular in this meta. Bastiodon loves the wing attack buff and medi/Sableye love the charm nerf

I've been leading with girafig, shadow. It's actually really good for how glassy it is. Double kick, fangs and thunderbolt. A stab fangs from a shadow hits different, I rarely throw the thunderbolt unless shields are down.

I used Noctowl before the buff, and I honestly can’t tell a difference between now and then. Same thing with Golbat. Idk if it’s just me but idk what it is.🤷🏽♂️
Running normal alolan marowak in the lead with hex it generates energy soooo much fast than fire spin even I 1v2 against full health registeel and aurorus with shadow bones and bone clubs
Then medicham as safe switch if opponent has bastiodon rock steel types with ice punch and power up punch as I will spam out pop and increase attack and nuke with ice punch with flyers jungles fluffy dragon birds and
Lanturn to tackle those wing attack flyers and to kill talonflames nidoqueens just weak against trevenant bit
I used to have trouble with the flying charged attack bubble animation. Feel like they slowed it down started last year and it’s proved to be much easier
The toxicroak/noctowl core is pretty strong here. Great team

Been having fun with shadow Girafarig (on the lead), not sure how it will hold up as I get up in level but I've had a couple people quit after it smashed their first two pokes.
Got lucky to get a rank 1 during spotlight hour. It's extremely tanky.

I’m using a very similar team, excadril, shadow machamp, and then noctowl
I miss the early days of pvp when the fights were always random. Mr Mime one round, Feraligatr the next. Now it's just fighting Clefable over and over again until my eyes are glazed over. Meta players are ruining an already flawed pvp system and sucking out what little fun there was to be had. You're all making it so repetitive.
