  1. Played and loved the 1st one. Skipped on the 2nd title cause I was too caught up on my back catalog, but I’m looking forward to this. The first one is dead drop gorgeous, can you imagine if Pokémon company use this style instead?

The first Ryza game has always caught my eye, but I’ve never taken the plunge.

Always been kinda instead but never played any of these.

It gives me Tales of Arise vibes, which I didn’t enjoy as much as I thought I would.

What the flying fuck is that title? I swear that the Switch is just a platform for these weird anime titles and nothing else.

So for someone who’s never played anything in the series, what are these games like? Are they like a dungeon crawler where you collect components to make items? Or is it something else?

The return of ryza and her fat fucking thighs

Damn Patty, Empel and Lila back as party members. I really hope the rest of the AR2 cast are back like Clifford and Serri

I just finished Ryza 1 and was deeply impressed with the writing and the crafting. I strongly advise giving this series a go if you like JRPGs and cute girls in JRPGs. Ryza 1 was a very coming-of-age story which gave Ryza a perfect opportunity to shine and show how likeable she is as a character. They also excellently use alchemy as a vessel to show Ryza’s character growth. Come for the thighs, stay for the great characters, the crafting and the thighs.

Music also blew me away, quite a few tracks have been added to my Spotify game music playlist.

Ryza usurping the title of most popular Atelier character. At this rate, they’re gonna break their usual trilogy format super early and give us Ryza 4 as the next game, instead of starting a new trilogy.
