  1. This game, on paper, has always seemed interesting to me. But I hear you basically have to play multiplayer to enjoy it, so it’s probably not for me…

  2. I genuinely never thought I would see the day that ARK would be running this well, let alone on a switch.

I haven’t finished the video yet, but any word on these optimizations coming to PC?

EDIT: Hold up, **GROVE STREET GAMES** is responsible for this port? Jesus, I would have never expected this after the mess of the GTA remakes.

What an ironic day to release this on ngl

Can we get these guys to come in and save the new Pokémon? It needs some performance tlc

  5. Neckwrecker

I read that as “The NEW Art Pork” and almost had a stroke.

  6. Going from 1 to 20 frames is of course a massive improvement, but still …

Just making fun of it. No clue how it runs now. Where is the TLDW?

Game looks pretty decent but still has a fair amount of frame drops

Insane improvement compared too the original realize though

  8. I remember playing the hell out of this game on Xbox One when it was brand new, despite the performance and input lag being the worst I’d ever seen at the time. What a long way it’s come to now be running decently on the Switch.

Crazy to think that grove street games developed this port after what they did to GTA.

Imagine if Bloodstained ROTN Switch got the same treatment as Switch Ark a massive revamp update to make the port look and run more in line with the other versions of the said game.

I got it for my wife and watched her play a few minutes, maybe half an hour. It looks and runs great now.

I wasn’t using my Switch Lite for quite some time but after seeing this video I picked up the game on sale and omg, I’m totally addicted. It certainly has a learning curve and I’m still very beginner player but over past week I have like 30hrs in this and it’s great. Sure, performance isn’t stable 30fps, but the convenience of this on portable system is just amazing.
Hoping to see the free DLC maps come to switch soon.
