Oh hell yeah! Last I saw it was changed to release next year. I’m glad the dev worked it out. He seemed really down about it’s reception on steam, up to and including immediately lowering the price over the backlash.
Edit: If anyone is wondering, I believe the backlash was from people who had bought the previous version, played the main story only (or did only a bit of exploring/side quests), and complained that it was the same game. Apparently, a lot of the new content is fairly hidden, or buried in side quests.
I full on misread this and assumed the US release was a full year behind the EU release lmao
