   Pretty crazy that it’s been 3+ years since the game has been announced and this is pretty much the biggest peek into the development process we’ve gotten. The lack of updates and completely unfinished game all make a little more sense

   Either way, Sports Story is the worst sequel I have played in recent memory, and I want a refund

    Really feels like they bit off more than they could chew with this one and maybe got rushed. Should’ve just made Tennis Story or something.

    I wouldn”t read much in to it. Welcome to a software development office. I repeat many of these lines with developers weekly with what I’d consider to be pretty stable software over twenty years.

    I got a refund from Nintendo for this game. Unbelievably buggy and the core gameplay loop was just exhausting. The humor didn’t really hit the same way it did for me in golf story. Overall I give this game a 3/10.

    It’s hard to tell what exactly happened, but it sounds like scope creep.

    The original plans were probably bringing the game to life around single sport like Golf Story, but it expanded into a whole “Sports Story” instead.
