I took a long break from PoGo. 2018-2021. The day I got back on I caught a shiny 3 star gyrados over 2k cp. It’s maxed at 3500+ now and can mega. Don’t know if I would’ve stuck it out without the catch. She’s still my best shiny.

What do you mean ran outside like crazy? Just wondering if that somehow increased your odds?? Or were you just running stop to stop and clicked a garados who happened to be shiny?

I never see a gyarados let alone a shiny one. Only magicarps for me lol
