Fun fact about **Beehive Studios** they have made a game before this Kickstarter it was a pokemon fan game called **Pokemon Xenoverse**.

How long do they expect to be in dev?
We’ve seen a lot of people complain when suddenly a console gets a successor and the dev team have to make the choice to develop for a platform that people are leaving or leave the original backers in the cold cold because they don’t want to spend dev time on a platform that hardly anyone uses.

I can say after playing their previous monster catching title, (Pokemon) Xenoverse per aspera ad Astra, this team has a lot of talent and a completely new IP will let them do as they please. One of the characters in fact (Trey) may or may not be the same character as Trey from Pokemon Xenoverse as well, so it will be interesting how they play it out.
If you want a taste of their talent, or you’re just looking for more Pokemon content to tide you over, look up Xenoverse.

Xenoverse is great (and also pretty well written, which is not a given for Pokemon fangames) so I’m pretty excited about this game.

Between this, Pokémon, Digimon, and the plethora of other “monster catching/collecting” games, it’s good to see that the lasting legacy of Monsters In My Pocket is still going strong (even if many would suggest that Shin Megami Tensei did it first) LOL

Big fan of the 2D spritework, but the gameplay… I dunno. Doesn’t look like a lot of fun to play, in my opinion.
