Different animations for the same combat abilities/events as your character levels up is quite neat, it will be interesting to check out all of them.

That was interesting to read about all the visual design details they went into both from a design and technical perspective.
Modeling the eyes? That is something I’ll have to check out. I rarely play on a TV but maybe I will for this one.
I thought it was also neat insight into how Three Houses’ battle animations were kept relatively plain because they had to consider the limitations with battalions behind the character. In Encore it sounds like they could go all out with the battle visuals. I always thought Three Houses was more muted just because that was the direction they were going for (more serious and realistic). Encore battle scenes look almost like a fighting game to me.
