It Takes Two has sold over 10 million copies
Our minds are officially blown.#ItTakesTwo has sold over 10 (TEN!) MILLION π³π₯
Potentially twice as many players have enjoyed our game – we never dared to dream of so many fans!
Thank you for all the love. π pic.twitter.com/GzF1UL7ZUn— Hazelight Studios (@HazelightGames) February 3, 2023

Absolutely love this game, I hope a sequel will be published
Is this good on the switch?
Gameplay is great, but the ending felt kinda rushed for me(im speaking about the story).
I love it! But it stressing my non-gamer wife out, so we’re not that far into it
It’s definitely the most creative two player game concept I’ve ever played.
Good
Such a good game
Great gameplay but damn should they have divorced in the end.
Can I start with that game or should I first play its predecessor ‘It Takes’?
Game was amazing. Sadly I stopped playing while going through divorce irl and has completely put me off from playing it. Glad everyone else likes it though
My husband and I finished this game a month ago and weβre looking for another 2 player game that even comes close to how amazing this game was.
I just bought a copy yesterday, wow i am the tenth million buyer!
>10 million copies
I mean, people were just trying to follow the game’s directions. You can’t buy just one.
It takes two.
There needs to be more games like this, it was beautiful when my partner and I played it
Phenomenal game. It absolutely deserves all the love and appreciation.
The devs poured their souls into this game, and it shows. I cannot wait to see what they come up with next.
I think it is the first time I have felt the game was made with co-op in mind 100%. Everything is about co-op. Not a dull moment. Havent finished the game yet. Just started yesterday. We laugh a lot when we die, game isn’t punishing if you screw up. Great game all around but the theme is treated a bit weird, the book is weird and kind of a troll lol.
Iβll never buy/play this game (just not for me), but it seems fun and I fully appreciate that they embraced the Marvin Gaye song in the trailer
Unpopular opinion: I disliked the game quite a bit. Gameplay was creative and varied, but the puzzles were simple and multiple sections dragged. I absolutely HATED the story and characters, especially the book. Shockingly, some plot points are downright creepy and off-putting. Glad so many people liked the game, and I hope we get more co-op games as a result of its success, but I don’t get the praise that the game gets.
Like playing a Pixar movie
Such a great game
As it should.
It deserves it, one of the best games ive ever played with my sibling
That little girl was creepy
Waiting until I have a girlfriend again to play this, looking forward to it.
And I refuse to play it until I get a friend or bf *cries in forever alone*
I played this with a close guy friend…and it gave me another reason as to why I shouldn’t date him
I enjoyed the gameplay, but holy cow the story. It was so heavy at times, and fucking weird (elephant), and insanely uncomfortable (Book of Love) and terribly written and acted. But the moment to moment gameplay was fun to play with my son.
My girl and I just started playing it. So cute and fun.
Wow, what a novel concept. A polished couch co-op game does well. Take notes, studios
Over ten million elephants murdered by slow dragging and limb separation.
This is one of the rare games that instantly became a classic. I loved it.
> Potentially twice as many players have enjoyed our game
Might have been much higher than even that, since the game is on EA Play and, by that fact, also available on Xbox/PC Game Pass.
Been playing it with my partner on gamepass for a while now.
Came to leave a comment that the game is immensely better co-op. The game doesn’t even feel the same alone. It feels very rigged and empty alone. Very template base.
Co-op this game is a beast. It is absolutely a wonderful experience.
If you guys haven’t played it co-op you are missing out on the real game.
I want It takes 2 Fast 2 Furious
I would love this studio to do anotjer Army of Two style something. Hands down the best local co op experience ever, dead too soon.
LOL Minecraft has sold over 238 million. It Takes Two, more like It Takes Two Massive Ls LMAO!
