Huh, looks like Storm 1-4 re-packaged into one title with some new characters from Boruto. At least now I can comfortably skip 1-4 and just get this one if I bother to pick it up

Hopefully this gives us some unique, original content like Generations did for the Akatsuki. Otherwise there’s not much reason to get this if you own Storm 1-4 like I do.

Unless they add anything of real substance, I don’t see the point of getting this as I have the previous bundle.
If the tweaked story is combining them all into one mega story and adding fights like Sound 4 vs the Sasuke retrieval squad and Team 7 vs Zabuza/Haku that wasn’t in Storm 1, that may peak my interest as it would be fun to play it all. That would require a lot of work to revamp though.
I’d love if they added characters like Anko & Kurenai, new outfits, & made the gameplay closer to Storm 1 with clashes & wall running. More combos too. I’m not expecting any of that though because I imagine it would have been highlighted here.
Happy to see a revisit to Storm though. I’d love for this to lead to a Storm 5 or new fighting game in the style of Clash of Ninja or DBZ FighterZ. I’d also love if they went back to the PS2 days. Those Ultimate Ninja games had so much detail, moves, and many awakenings.

There needs to be some kinda new mechanics, bandai and cc2 are pretty lazy with anime games so i dont expect much.
But this is going to be the naruto game to hold us over for a while so there has to be something new gameplay wise.

I’m currently going through the Naruto anime & manga, and own the Switch games. Wondering if this will give any more substantial value, especially considering the incredible sale prices of Storm 1-4

It is literally Naruto Storm 1 to 4, but now remastered and at 60FPS. The trailer itself SCREAMS it, the scenes shown are literally 1 to 1 with the scenes from the previous games, but at higher resolution.
I honestly don’t understand why you guys are speculating. It is BANDAI, they did this the last two decades with almost all their anime franchises, plus Naruto Storm already have a FIFA status, it is always the exact same game with some new faces.
There is nothing to speculate except for which new characters will be sold separatedely.

another rehash storm game, no surprise here. The gameplay barely evolved since the first game beyond adding a few additional mechanics to freshen the same old gameplay. So i don’t see reason to buy after playing 1 thru 4. With how Bandai treated the Klonoa remasters, i wouldn’t be surprised if this game is half-assed too.

Id only see myself getting this if they removed all the annoying af main mission locking behind side quest crap. Thats why when I bought storm legacy i only ended up buying 2 cause it was the only one that didnt require anything to play the story. Its all I care about
