Good call. I just happened to wake up to use the restroom, was thinking of going in person today. Decided to just order through the app for delivery.

Strange that preorders for a normal physical print is gone out in most places.

8 bucks for shipping tho. You can’t pick it up :/

Thankfully here in Ireland it looks like I’ll be able to just walk in to my local shop and pick this up.

When did this happen? I ordered my copy yesterday afternoon from Amazon with no issues…

I know complaining about the Switch having too many remakes/remasters/ports is a national pasttime for certain people.

But I for one am happy to see this game getting this kind of response. I hope this encourages them remaster some more older games and bring them into the modern world.

Games are like movies, movies are getting remastered into 4k so we can enjoy them even more now, why do people get so upset about games getting the same treatment?

Serious question tho. This is not a limited release right?

Was the physical version announced somewhere, that I missed, as a limited item? If so, I hate that BS.

Sold out of preorders just means they have no more stock until they get more stock… GS is just betting they get more stock before they actually have to deliver their orders.

If you preorder from GS, don’t expect to get a copy on release day.

  10. I’ll wait to see in real life if it’s not there to buy.

Give it a shot, but they’re pretty shit at meeting demand these days.

  12. It’ll be available everywhere on release day. No worries.

Glad I preordered in store. This is getting ridiculous. On the other hand I’m very happy that Prime Remastered is selling so well, that increases the chances we get remasters of the other 2 games in the trilogy.

So, with the Switch install base, this will be the best selling Metroid ever, right?

  15. Quigleythegreat

The GameCube had a relatively small install base. As great as Prime was, and it is one of the all time greats, it didn’t reach that many people. Years of praise and lack of modern availability I think has had a lot of people emulate this who never had the first on GC. There’s a much larger want for this game than Nintendo thought.

ill walk into a store a buy it. drama-free

  17. My Amazon order just updated with a March 27th date.. 😞

  18. DarthArk

My Amazon pre-order just went from arriving on Feb 22nd to April 3rd… kinda pissed

Unfortunately GameStop isn’t always reliable. That’s where my pre-order is though, so fingers crossed.

Amazon is now saying my copy will arrive on March 23rd. Jfc. Anyone else got an amazon ship date like this?

  21. norealmx

I just received an email saying is going to be delivered on the 23rd… March.

Hilarious since you can still find copies of Mario 3D All-Stars, an actually limited print run. Unless you need it on release day, just relax, it should be fine.

  23. I’ll take Remasters for amazing games like this over “Remakes” any day. I hope the new generation enjoys this one, truly a fun experience.

Nintendo and Incompetence, name a more iconic duo, I’ll wait-
