So this video mostly covers the DLCs, have the original issues from the main game been fixed?

How’s the game in general , picked up on sale to fill up back log and haven’t booted up yet

I simply don’t listen to what this YT channel produces

I played this game when it came out on Apple Arcade and couldn’t believe how fucking awful it was. The problems with it were so fundamental that I have a hard time believing they could fix it, but I’m gonna watch this later out of curiosity.

I bought the game physically and have it in my backlog. I guess I will wait for the final DLC to drop to start playing it.

Thanks for the update! I’ve been watching this game and was disappointed to hear the condition it was in when it launched. Happy to hear it’s fixed.
Just one question though; is it fun?

The name make me thought of the old Disney movie

If Baldo is a complete redemption arc then Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are technically advanced games…

I purchased this on day one and it’s one of the worst games I’ve ever played. It’s just terrible and I dont know how any patch could fix it

remember spending an hour running throught the ship being unable to notice a switch that moved a box to reveal a ladder…
How is the version that comes on the cartridge of the current retail version?

I just played through Baldo on switch and I actually loved it. Based on my understanding of the state of the game at launch, it seems like a lot has been improved upon. I encountered one bug early on where I lost a heart container and all my money, which really sucked, but a couple days later a mysterious update came in from on high and not only restored my hearts, but also gave me $20,000. Then this happened again, and I had an extra heart container and $40,000, which is more money than one ever needs in this game. It allowed me to buy all the hints in the library, which was nice because some of the puzzles in this game are obtuse in a way that doesn’t even feel satisfying, like pushing levers in a specific order, with the order being written on the floor in a random room that’s kinda far away. The hint system is essentially an in-game walkthrough, but feels overpriced, so this bug actually took some grind out of the game, which I liked. The game also crashed on me a number of times, but the autosaving is so frequent that it didn’t matter. Otherwise, I didn’t encounter any glitches.
If you like the cryptic side of old school Zelda and can get over some of the odd design choices, I would strongly recommend this game. The dungeons were so fun, as were many of the side quests, and the game does a beautiful job of straddling openness and linearity in the same way that ALTTP-style Zelda games do. Despite some of the puzzles feeing unfair, many of them felt great, and Baldo overall provides a nice challenge and scratches a very particular itch.

SwitchUp all patchedup videos are great. Wish it had launched in this state, it would have done a lot better i think.

What timing. I’m playing right now, about 30 hrs in and I think I got a glitch concerning the takame shield where I have a bag to take to one of the shield sisters but she doesn’t acknowledge that I have the bag to get the fourth shield rune. Which sucks because I think it gives you unlimited stamina. The game crashes almost every play-through for me as well….

I wish they would do a complete UI overhaul. The UI is VERY ugly.

It was already great when it launched. It suffered from a hate campaign that painted it as awful.

These guys are pushing this hard. I would point out the game is sponsoring the video.
I generally like these guys, but this one seems tainted.
