    > Falcom released new info/screenshots for Ys X: Nordics introducing protagonist Adol, heroine Carja, and the “Cross Action” battle system. Solo Mode: speed-oriented combat with switchable characters, while Combo Mode offers more power, offense, and defense, with a “Guard” action to increase your “Revenge Gauge.”

I started playing Ys a couple of months or so ago. I started with Ys Book I & II for the TurboGrafx-16 (Played via the PC-Engine Mini that was released in 2020), and I’ve been kind of hooked on the series ever since. Currently I’m working my way through every single game in the series…. I’ve already played Ys III, both Ys IVs (fan-translated), Ys V (fan-translated), Ys VI, Oath in Felghana, and yesterday I just finished I & II Chronicles. …Next on my list is Ys Origin. 😀

Dang, how come this classic, easygoing, fast-paced, fun RPG series was under my nose this whole time??

Very pleased to see that there are still new ones being made. 😀 Looking forward to when I catch up to it!

  3. Game looks great, hopefully it will have an English release not too long after the Japanese one

How the crap is Adol 10 games in an STILL 17 years old?

    Cautiously optimistic about this one
I loved the party system in VIII and IX so it’s a little bummer we’re getting only one more person in addition to Adol this time
But on the other hand, Switch release from Falcom themselves is extremely welcome
I’ve been very dissatisfied by the PC port licensing mess that Falcom has thrown themselves into

Let me guess the plot Adol lost again while cruising on the ship ?

Sign me up. Lacrimosa of Dana is perfection.

Woah, graphic looks quite better than Kuro no Kiseki, was this on their new proprietary engine too?
