I played the first and apparently the original also had the issue of bland builds due to multi-hit weapons simply being better than anything else due to how bad the accuracy was in the game.
I’m hoping this one is better but for anyone who played the original was this also the case here or was it fixed?

Looking forward to buying each remake individually and then whatever collection they come out with after the third is done. Hopefully they make a new game in the series.

I really wanted to like this series, especially on SNES, because I liked the Metal Gear-ish aesthetics, but these are just bland, grindy JRPGs. It would be fantastic if they were more like Into the Breach, with original, snappy mechanics, instead of the usual “I hit you for 20, you hit me for 10, I win”.

Now that we’ve gotten so much FM goodness I hope we get some sort of international re-release for Front Mission : Gunhazard. That game is severely underrated.

Played a bit of the SNES original front mission and while it was cool, it felt kinda bland and too limited. From all ove read andnsaw the switch remake brought nothing significant to the table and the visual upgrade was in my book worthless.
I’ve read the 2nd is vastly superior but I’d still like to see some actual effort into any visual improvement

just thought about this the other day. still working my way through 1 and cant wait to get to 3 which i remember loving on the PS1
and yeah the multi hit weapons seem to be the best but i don’t know the one hit KO of some of the single shooters is nice too.
