I actually sort of don’t want to watch. Of course, I do, it’s just, contrary to most, I feel they’ve shown enough. I probably will still watch because I can’t deal with knowing I haven’t.

  2. Cutcutman

This was inevitable, but I’m happy to see it!

People were getting antsy about news on TotK, but I’m surprised people legitimately believed Nintendo wasn’t going to show anymore of this game. If Xenoblade and Splatoon were going to get showcased, then Zelda absolutely would as well.

  3. GomaN1717

Aonuma still rocking that fucking *fresh* cut from the delay announcement video, gaht DAYUM

  4. OscarExplosion

I understand that TotK is going to sell extremely well but it’s super crazy to me that this will be the first real look at gameplay and the game releases in six weeks.

  5. This is where they announce the CE OLED Switch, I bet.

  6. superyoshiom

Every time I see Aonuma I get scared on instinct thinking the games gonna get delayed again, luckily it was the opposite this time

  7. walksintwilightX1

Ah, here we go. I’ve been waiting for some proper gameplay after all the trailers.

  8. DenimChicken6125

Trying to go in as blind as possible but I know I’m going to end up watching it anyways lol

Eiji Aonuma: “Never ask me for anything ever again! “

  10. Nintendork7950

I don’t wanna watch, but I’m definitely going to get spoiled over the next 46 days if I don’t

  11. _Doctor_Mac

Restock that limited edition massively please 😤😤

  12. Please more enemy types, please more enemy types, please more enemy types..

We’ve got 20 years of baddies to pull inspiration from, pleaseeee more than re-colored bobkins throughout the world

  13. QuantumProtector

My prediction is that they are gonna be announcing Super Mario Odyssey 2, Pikman 5, more info about Metroid Prime 4 and Silksong.

I’m glad it’s 10 minutes and nothing more. I watched them play through the entire tutorial of BotW before it got released so my exploration of the Great Plateau wasn’t organic enough.

It’s enough time to showcase some cool stuff but not *really* explain it so we can find things out for ourselves.

  15. KlumpGamez

Excited – still so pumped for this game

  16. Ideories

Please please have more exploration than shrines and towers. I want the joy when i was 10 hours in botw and saw a fucking magical flying chinese dragon.

  17. I really hope they show us something actually different story/dungeon wise.

While I’ll probably still enjoy the game even if it is *just* BotW with sky islands and vehicles, I really don’t want that to be the only thing that sets this game apart from the last one.

The main thing that’d get me hyped is seeing more than 2 or more dungeons with completely distinct visuals like all previous 3D zeldas had, and them just giving us an idea of how many dungeons there are (ideally 7+).

I really hope some content in the game isn’t just “do it in any order” as well. That just absolutely kills interconnectivity in the story. Botw had all 4 divine beast stories feeling totally separate because, since you could do them in any order, they didn’t make it so characters from the last thing you did impacted the story/region of the next thing, so they just feel like 4 standalone side quests rather than your usual well integrated main story with lots of moving parts that are interacting with eachother rather than siting off in their own little world.

I still have yet to beat Breath of the Wild.

Conquered all the Divine Beasts, got a bunch of stamina, tons of Ancient Arrows, even grabbed the Hylian Shield early in the game.

All that I need to do is finally defeat Calamity Ganon.

Will do that before Tears of the Kingdom drops. I just don’t want Breath of the Wild to end, if that makes sense.

  19. WithTheBallsack

Themed dungeons please. And give us the hook shot back.

  20. Not seeing anyone mention how this could very well be an Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask situation and despite those both releasing on the same console and sharing the same design and assets, both are highly respected.

I don’t see Nintendo dropping the ball here and ToK being little more than DLC, I think we’ll get some significant changes, mechanics and storyline.

  21. Bennerbench

I really hope this game is a little meatier storywise

  22. MutatedSpleen

Genuine question for everyone here: What are you *hoping* this game is?

Do people just want Breath of the Wild with a new map and story? Do you want new powers and abilities? What would you consider satisfying? What would you consider disappointing?

  23. Thatguydrew7

Fingers crossed for no weapon durability.

  24. _MissionControlled_

So many damn big games dropping this year. RIP outside.

  25. illhaveasideofgravy

I’m trembling for what we will see in just a couple of hours.

  26. hollowglaive

Whether you’re on team ” they spent 6 years on an expansion pack” or team “I’m actually excited to play a sequel to a game I liked regardless of reused assets and I’m just happy it’s finally here”

    We eating good.

  27. therealhamster

  28. ThisOneTimeAtLolCamp
