I’m sure the score will be awesome. But his picture in the thumbnail makes me feel like it’s gonna be dubstep remixes of Mario songs.

The little NSMB “bwah!” when Mario came out of that pipe in the … second trailer, I think? … immediately signaled to me that the composer is a fan of the IP himself, and that can only mean good things. Glad they picked him for the job, I will be buying the score for sure.
