From the gameplay video I saw, it seem we have there another great port! Waiting for a little bit more feedback, but it’s one game I really wanted on Switch for a long time!

For anybody who has played this on other systems before, do you think it’s worth it strictly for solo play?
I’m a huge fan of ARPGs and soulslike games, but I rarely ever use my Switch for multiplayer.

Edit 2 : Just circling back for anybody who comes across this in the future. I just finished the main campaign solo and had a blast. Took me about 14 hours total. And due to the procedural generation of some of the game content, I have probably seen about half-ish(?) of the content and I will be resetting the campaign and playing again. I also still have all of the DLC to play through, which I’m excited about. Well worth it and very enjoyable. What I wouldn’t give for a combination of the gunplay from Remnant and the looter/shooter style of Borderlands!

Originally played this on a beefy PC, but never finished it. I’m going to get through my first full playthrough on switch.

The roll mechanic takes a little bit to get used to but this game is fantastic. Played the whole thing with a friend for free from PS+ and liked it so much we bought the DLC’s and played the whole thing again. There is also a survival mode where you get thrown random levels and bosses and see how far you can make it using the wacky upgrades you can find, loads of fun.

I found it very frustrating and have moved on after 4 hours play. First boss is a frustrationfest and in the end I decided it wasn’t worth it.
