I don’t know but seems the Illumination guys are just to blinded by the excitement that they just FU the whole mood and emotion of going to the cinema, if we “copy and paste” all the scenes in several places (commercials, trailers, specials, nintendo directs, YouTube and so on) we have fairly 20 minutes of the movie… is a lot, in Youtube you can see the initial 4 minutes, in 2 days basically we just need to “arrive” to the end.
is like paying the ticket for a concert and just listen the “grand finale” Taaadaaaa!!
I think in they desired to “feed the customer” basically destroyed feeling

This honestly worries me. Peach seems a bit hyper-competent with no real flaws (At least shown so far). I feel it would have been better to have her more like this in movie 2 then this one from a narrative perspective.
I’m sure it will probably be fine but it does feel a bit like Mario is getting upstaged more then a bit here in his own premier movie. The fact that most of the slapstick comedy is focused on him and Luigi doesn’t help to sell him a competent hero either.

You know what would be awesome? Is if this movie is the start of “Nintendoverse” and they do a Zelda movie, star fox, maybe a Metroid, etc. Then have them all come together for a smash bros movie. That’d be awesome

Between all the clips and trailers they’ve probably shown off like 10 mins of a 92 minute movie. Idk why they keep showing off more when the release date is tomorrow…
