The head spitting fire is attached to a Rusty Claymore

EDIT: Guys, I think it’s a Rusty Broadsword instead. Sorry I lied to all of you :^(

    Sadly underwhelmed by yesterdays footage.

Love to be proven wrong – but I think this game won’t review well.

They seem to be related to the Zonai because one of the items they dropped in the demo had Zonai in the name.

Kinda seeing more potential here than with yesterday’s footage, or at least with the combination of the two

I’m really digging the design of this zonai tech. Way better than the ancient sheikah stuff imo.

There must be way more to these dragons than we think

Have we seen any guardians yet in the game? I loved them and their designs.

Do we know if dungeons are back and if weapons totally break or are repairable? That’s a crucial point which breaks my interest if it’s like in botw.

Getting some Nyarlathotep vibes from the design.

Wait wait wait. Remember a trailer sometime ago where Link had a *flamethrower head fused to his shield*?

    It all makes sense now.

3 eyes, because this is a level-3 construct.

All the ones Aonuma fought in his gameplay session had only one eye.

I think I know where I’m going to get a flame thrower now…

At least there’s something new about the game surprised it wasn’t recycled enemies like everything else

  14. This reminds me of the sky guardians from BotW.

Woah. I didn’t know they were still making Arms DLC.

  16. Nintendo saw Godrick the Grafted and were like “That! Make Zelda be THAT!”

  17. There was like 7 ennemies.only in botw, a shitty variety. I’d guess they will add like 4 in this one and call it a day.

You look at games like elden ring offering hundreds of different ennemies, and it is utterly pathetic… Especially for 6 years of development.

And NO having a green construct, red construct and yellow construct does not count as three enemy type

  18. Between the Zonai constructs that are showing up, and the giant golem made out of cubes; I’m starting to think they’re procedurally generating enemies.

How many weapons should your Constructs carry? Nintendo: all of them.

The original BotW took 6 years to develop from stage 1 to release. These uninspired enemies and large DLCs being ported out on the original game as a AAA title for 70 dollars is inexcusable.

For 6 years and 70 dollars you should have an entire game of original content, and not just these procedurally generated “construct” enemies and some fortnite powerups.

I was always a Zelda fan-boy and this is not Zelda anymore.

Not been following BOTW lore or speculation for this game too closely, so this is the first time I’ve heard reference to the term Zonai…
But it is amusing, since my first reaction was “wait, didn’t Ratchet and Clank on the PS already have an advanced robot/energy race of beings called the Zoni?”
Though to be honest, I’m totally cool with TotK ripping off R&C if it means Link is able to eventually find/build himself a R.Y.N.O.

Hopefully you can craft your own automatons and take them into boss battles and so forth.

I hope the fire dragon head is a fuseable piece. I’ll take a flamethrower-gardening-fork-lance-abomination over a normal fire rod.
