It’s going to be so hard but I really don’t want to get spoilers. So I’m not going to watch it

Same day as Sony are doing a State of Play for Final Fantasy 16. Pure coincidence obviously

  3. MortalPhantom

It was obvios they would release a final trailer. And imo, the final botw trailer was the best. Excited for this one

WIll we see Ganondorf’s final human form?

In my opinion it’ s likely because we have seen:

    * mummied Ganondorf
    * 1/2 mummied Ganondorf

and some months ago we heard his voice

Idt this is gonna be as good as the BOTW Final Trailer (Doesn’t need to be tbh) but I’m still really excited nonetheless.

Phrase „final pre-launch trailer” is interesting to me, because it implies there will be one more launch trailer

They’ll probably announce some stuff for prime 4 at the end

Good idea to announce it will be the final showcase.

I really hope they manage to find a middle ground. So far, in my opinion, the marketing has been extremely poor at showcasing frankly *anything* I was hoping for for a BoTW sequel. I know I’m in the vast minority in feeling that way, and I’m glad that’s the case. I’m glad that most people are hyped and even if I don’t end up liking the game I hope as many others do as possible. But hey, it’s the internet and hopefully people won’t mind me sharing my thoughts.

I don’t want spoilers. What I want to see is:

    – By far and away the most important, a confirmation of proper dungeons
    – Evidence of an proper real-time story, as opposed to the memory-based story with a sprinkling on contemporary story. Not sure how they can do this without spoiling things, but hopefully they can find a way.
    – A better idea of the premise of the story and what we can very loosely expect
    – A slightly more in-depth look at the cave system, to hopefully show they are far more extensive than we have been shown so far
    – A better idea of the true extent of the sky islands; so far they look quite sparse compared to the extent of the BoTW overworld they’re reusing
    – A glimpse of how a particular area of the BoTW overworld has changed
    – Evidence of proper dungeon bosses

What I DON’T want to see is:

    – Any late-game content
    – Too extensive of a look at new areas to explore. I want to have an idea of how much new stuff we’re going to get, but I don’t want to know what it actually is. For example, a vertical pan showing how high up the sky islands go, maybe showing that the presumed ‘starter’ area goes up way higher than we thought, would be perfect
    – Anything especially unexpected. Keep the surprises for us to enjoy when we play
    – Much more of a look at the crafting systems. I don’t particularly care about crafting, and we already know enough about it for it to be a hook. A glimpse or two more cool things is fine so long as it’s not a substantial portion of the most exciting or inventive content.
    – Any more than one boss. Show us one early-game one to confirm they’re a thing, and no more than that

Right now I’m *personally* in the position of feeling extremely underwhelmed from what they’ve shown to us, and concerned that the game will be very disappointing. Basically, I want the same thing I’ve been wanting for the past year or so, for those fears to be allieved without spoiling too much. It’s a tough balancing act but hopefully they can do it.

  9. Trickity

I gotta go on media black out best i can. I’m already gunna buy it.

  10. Actually, I think I won’t. I’m already buying the game. What more information could I possibly need? The less I see, the more I’m surprised.

  11. basketball_curry

So what happened with the collector’s edition? I’ve been watching like a hawk and the only outlet I ever saw actually have them for sale was Gamestop. I assume by now, they’ve all been allocated and I’m just SoL.

  12. PrettyFlyForAFryGuy

I sure hope this game can alleviate my worries, because I’ve not been impressed with what they’ve shown us so far.

  13. lost_james

There’s really not much new content in this game.

  14. heatwaveorchid

I’m excited but I want to also temper my expectations. People have been clamoring for a playable Zelda which would be amazing but I don’t think we’ll get that this time around. I’d love to be proven wrong.

  15. Jiangcool9

    Still can’t believe there’s a teaser for a trailer…

  16. Munelluboch

I’m sooo fucking mad at myself for not keeping my eye on my bag last week, some fucker stole it with my Switch inside 😭
We’re so close to launch day, got the game pre-ordered and I’m just.. not gonna be able to play it

  17. Now will they finally tell us what is going on or will it be 3 minutes of Link fusing stuff together?

  18. jjmawaken

I hope they show a dungeon… if so I might preorder

  19. BigBoyManBoyMan

so disappointed how expensive this game is, i’ll never buy a video game for 70 dollars, gotta wait all the way till it’s discounted smh.

  20. billingsminimumOG

Show me dungeons, or I’m not buying this at launch.
