I’m excited for Ganon alone. Like they didn’t even need to show him, you can tell he’s back by just how much chaos is going on in the world. But DAMN I’m gonna need a few weeks off of work to binge this game.

Looks like a heck of a lot of story content and I love that we’re seeing Hyrule rebuild itself with what looks like at least one new settlement. And the baby champs are back!

It almost seemed like Zelda is the one with amnesia this time, and all she can remember is Link. Or am I the only one who got those vibes?
But the biggest issue in BotW was that we needed an art book and a Warriors game to give proper purpose for Calamity Ganon. I think it was a huge mistake to initially characterize him as like a force of nature rather than an actual character. They’ve corrected that right out of the gate with this game. We’ve got a Ganon, and he seems awesome.
Also, there goes my initial theory that somehow the Warriors story would influence the sequel.

This is the first trailer for this game in what, the two years it’s been known about? to actually get me hyped for the game. Great music, visuals, and interesting combat stuff onscreen

Holy shit. I honestly went into this trailer expecting too see more of the same but that was incredible. All my worries are gone. It looks like there are lots of new mechanics and that the game will be more story based than the last.
All of this makes me not mind the reused map as much. I was worried it would take away one of the best parts of the first game which was exploring the world. But it seems they have plenty of new areas plus some cool revamped places.

The Zelda theme, the hints of Midna’s theme, our (presumably) favourite Mario Kart saxophone player, the organ when Ganondorf appears, the reversed vocals weaving in and out, and that fucking fx drop right into the title at the very end?! Breathtaking.
