The Super Mario movie was really enjoyable and I appreciated how fast it moved for my daughter that is only 4. But for me personally it could have used a little more storytelling specially when Mario meets Peach. We did a review for it in case anyone wants to listen to it, we overall enjoyed it and we talk about what other Nintendo movie properties we want to see.

No, I don’t usually go to kids movies and expect Schindler’s list; especially when it’s based on a game series with generally no story besides save the princess.
Im a adult who grew up on the 90s movie. I thought it was fine. Its a mario movie i didnt expect a deep plot just a fun movie just like the main games. As reggie would say: if its not fun, why bother.
It felt a little rushed in some scenes but over all I knew what I was getting into. It was entertaining and it didn’t have a complicated plot. It was my kind of movie to kill an hour or so. Movies are rarely this short in this day in age. 9/10.
