Kept seeing character trailers of this awhile back. Game went like Multiversus had a big release and not much else happened after that. Maybe my hopes for Marvel vs Capcom Ultimate 3 and Hi Fi Rush will be port

Always love fighting games like these. Even if i suck at them.

Can I use this game to install FOSS software?

I’d suggest skipping this, game is virtually a ghost town on PC and has had next to no communication about the status of things from the devs.

FYI this version does not have rollback

I really liked this game, but it’s dead on PC and there’s no cross play…

The game looks more ambitious and stylish than I thought it’d be, I never paid attention so far as I don’t know the IP at all but I’ll keep an eye on it 🙂

There is very little reason to buy this game over other fighting games on switch. The only redeeming factor is nice graphics. You’d be paying $50 for a nearly year old game with dead online, bad netcode, barebones single player, and barely any developer support.
Better options on the Switch include Melty Blood: Type Lumina, Skullgirls, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid and Them’s Fightin’ Herds because they all have usable online, are cheaper and have more characters (except TFH which has 7 characters in the base game but is only $20). BftG and TFH both have crossplay as well.
Other options that don’t have good online but are probably still better options are Dragon Ball Fighterz, Persona 4 Arena, Blazblue Centralfiction, Blazblue Cross Tag Battle, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle, Street Fighter 30th anniversary, Capcom Fighting Collection, Samurai Shodown and Undernight Inbirth. All of these games have some combination of being cheaper, way more characters, or more substantial single player modes.
I really don’t like shitting on games like this but I was pretty excited about this game leading up to its initial release. The publisher/devs just dropped the ball hard on this one, and releasing a half-assed port on Switch while the game is dying on other platforms just feels dirty.
Buy this game if you really, really like the graphics (but don’t want to play as Dragon Ball characters for some reason) or if you really, really want to play as these nameless characters (that have admittedly cool designs).

If anybody is looking to get into a fighting game, would recommend waiting on the King of Fighter XIII port on switch. Rollback included, and one of the most fun fighting games to learn imo.
