[Mr Sun’s Hatbox is on the eshop now](https://www.nintendo.com/store/products/mr-suns-hatbox-switch/) \- it’s a stealth roguelike with basebuilding. I saw a Steam review that called it a cross between Metal Gear Solid 5 and Spelunky, and to me that’s very apt.
I’ve played about an hour of it and it’s very fun. Kidnapping guys and collecting hats to build your little army is a very satisfying gameplay loop. The core platforming is very simple so far but fun enough to support the idea and very easy to pick up and play.
Anybody else tried it out? What were your thoughts?

sniping a copy after work – ive said this in another thread a week ago but Kenny Sun is one of the best indie developers out there in the mobile space and it’ll be exciting to see how he tackles a proper console game

The trailers have shown a LOT of stuff going on at once in a map. I’m definitely going to need to hear a review of how this performs on the switch before I buy it.
