I am curious: Why do the characters you play (i.e., move at the bottom) look so different from the other characters?

My only gripe about this is the multiplayer is limited to two players. Which is confusing because Magical Drop V had 4 player and it’s pretty standard for puzzlers now-a-days

How do you unlock characters? Story mode is very brutal even on easy. Wish it did not wipe your progress in the event of a loss.

Cripes, I can’t win a single round even on easy. No idea what I’m doing wrong considering I’m matching stuff pretty fast. Really making me regret my purchase when I’m getting my ass handed to me in story mode.

Definitely grabbing this, big fan of the series.
They had me at Partial Nudity.
It’s got an MSRP $29.99, but Deku Deals shows the launch sale for $26.99. For some reason, though, it’s $20.09 for me on the [eShop](https://www.nintendo.com/store/products/magical-drop-vi-switch/). Maybe because I own another game from the publisher?
