Almost all of what was announced for this year is already out and Zelda TOTK will also be several months old by then.

Pikmin releases in June and, to my knowledge, that’s the last big title that has a set release date. We have no idea what the holiday 2023 season will bring.
I expect a big summer Direct with a bunch of reveals, followed by demos at Gamescom.

Nice. Gamescom last year was a bit bland with nintendo and sony not showing up. but I have a feeling now with nintendo showing up, It will be much better.

Excellent. I was wondering if we’d have a period of no Nintendo news after TOTK and Pikmin. A slowdown until the next console. I’d imagine another Mario game? What else would there be a side from maybe Prime 4? I doubt there’d be a new console already.

I know I’m dreaming but an announcement of any kind on a switch 2 would be great. I’d love Metroid Prime news, but feel it’s gonna be a launch title for the next console.

I could def see another Fire Emblem game being announced by that time.
There’s been a lot of rumors about a remake the past couple years, and datamining showed that there was supposed to be a mainline game released between 3H and Engage. That on top of how quickly they wrapped up the DLC for Engage (Just over 2 months compared to 3H’s roughly 7 months) shows that IS probably has something else cooking. Whether it turns out to be a remake of FE4, FE6 and 7 comboed, the Tellius games, or potentially even a brand new game all together, I feel pretty confident that we get another FE game announced this year.

I’m guessing a new open world space exploration star fox, a new 3d mario, a waluigi detective series, a new entry into the donkey kong country series, xenoblade x definite edition, super mario rpg 2 – just to name a few.

Hmm, since their two big hitters will be out by then, makes me wonder if we will get the next console reveal? Maybe Prime 4? But I will temper my expectations…I will not be like youtubers out there that announce the Switch Pro is coming every week.

Yeah they really need to announce what their next big thing is after Zelda. Yes I know Pikman 4 is a thing, but I dont think that franchise has nearly anywhere the mass appeal as Mario, Pokemon, DK, Zelda, etc.
Really hoping that a direct or spiritual sequel to Mario Odyssey is next
