  1. Looking forward to playing this along with Genshin!

  2. chef_simpson

I got this free on ps5 and did not like it….but I’m sure some people enjoy it

  3. Why? Just cancel it like Midnight Suns. I cant believe it sold well enough to continue dumping development dollars into it.

  4. Riomegon

No reveal trailer? Well guess they’re not confident in showing what it’ll actually look like.

  5. Mangiacakes

I got it on PS5 for free. I did not enjoy it.

  6. Cinema_King

I had a weird relationship with this game. I enjoyed playing it except for the boss fights but as soon as I finished it I forgot about it almost entirely.

Given that this game plays and looks like bland garbage on PS5/Xbox SX, I can’t imagine this will play well on the Switch.

    Wait for a sale ppl
I bought on a steam sale for $20, played a bit but it really didn’t keep me interested.
Watch some review vids because they def sum up the experience.
The narration/narrator is a weird thing for me, like they just couldn’t afford voice acting, so they paid one guy to talk for everyone. But that to me ruins the immersion of talking to all the different overworld characters.

    Edit: wording/spelling

  9. Haymegle

I can’t imagine this would run well?

Like if it does that’s an impressive port for a game that by all accounts is mediocre at best.

Sad story of ambitions larger than skills. You can see in the screenshots and promotional materials what kind of game they wanted to make, but it just isn’t that game.

  11. SanDiegoGME

Considering how empty the world of Biomutant is, maybe this will run just fine

  12. catharsis23

One of the more soulless games I have played in a while, with quests from 2002. But the aethetic was kind of cool. They clearly focused on quantity over quality

  13. DragonShine

I don’t play much open world games, I only really play them if my favorite series makes them such as BOTW, Elden Ring and Pokemon SV.

I’ve been playing this on PS5 since I liked the look of it and so far been having lots of fun! I get it gets a lot of hate but I like turning my brain off and just immersing myself in this weird world of mutated animal people in radiation and pollution. I wasn’t really disappointed that it wasn’t complicated since I do enough over thinking in Pokemon and Fromsoft games.

Definitely wait for a sale on this my friends.

  15. This game trys to be a lot of things, and I feel like that’s where it fails. World is empty, the narrator was annoying (imo), and the story was a miss. Crafting system is somewhat unique, but lacks variety. Some of the combat is cool, but it’s too floaty (at least for me). Textures constantly not loading properly. I played this when it was on Free Play Days on Xbox. Definitely don’t buy this at full price.

I can only recommend this game if you have disposable money, and/or you like playing as anthropomorphic animals.

I want to love this game but it is an empty open world with little reward for exploration, let alone just playing.

  17. BrainSweetiesss

This was was pretty much dead on arrival when it released

  18. I was hyped for this game for a while years ago and bought it on PC on release. Had to refund it. The world feels so empty, combat feels very clunky, performance was bad on a high end PC so I can’t imagine it running smoothly on a Switch.

  19. CelphDstruct

The story is literally empty but it’s a fun game, you can skip all the dialogue and just listen to your partner but even he can get annoying sometimes. Missed opportunity. Also dunno how I feel with this game running on switch

  20. mrfauxbot

Does anyone care about this ? Watched someone play this and was bored to tears looked dated like it came out in 2002 lol

  21. AuthorSAHunt

I loved this game, it’s got a special place in my heart. Once you get past the first area and everything opens up, it turns into an amazing and addictive scavenger hunt with some of the most satisfying combat ever. Is it a masterpiece? No, but it’s a damn good game if you give it a little time to spread its wings.

  22. As other commenters have said, I also got it for free on PS5. And felt robbed haha. Did not like it

  23. teelwolf

Terrible game. Wanted to but it for the longest time but thankfully came to PS+ for free… still feel robbed.

  24. Illustrathor

It has a lot of flaws, particularly the very VERY repetitiveness of basically everything, the rather boring “story” as well as mediocre combat and so much more.

    BUT! But.

It has a nice world feeling and overall environmental storytelling. If they had managed to make just one aspect, either gameplay or story, more fun or decent, this could have been a great game.
Overall I did enjoyed it for the most part… like you’d enjoy a meal at McDonald’s, it gives you something but after that, you feel either bloated or craving something with more substance.

  25. Played it on PC and found it very enjoyable. It is a good game that could have been a great game if they didn’t cut so many corners. Hopefully we will get a sequel that is more rounded up.

  26. DinosaurJoeman

I don’t really care what the negative comments say, I’m gonna give this game a shot. I’ll see if it’s mid to me or not.

  27. Professor_Retro

Reminder that in addition to the game being kind of awful, THQ Nordic also has a history of [hosting live events on alt-right pedophile websites](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/THQ_Nordic#Controversy) and to this day no one has been dismissed for it and only a few token apologies have been made. Don’t support them, and certainly not for a game like *this.*

  28. I played biomutant on ps5(but ps4 version), enjoyed it quite a bit. One of those games that is entertaining, but didn’t go back to it once I finished it.
