Great April for Nintendo Switch in the UK with sales up 26%, thanks to the new Zelda edition (which was only released at the end of the month). Switch is now only tracking 15% down over 2022, which feels like a good result. I’ll be interested to see the impact of Zelda next week

My brother got the Zelda OLED after playing my white OLED handheld, he has been playing Metroid Dread and been loving it.
How does he know it’s the Zelda system that’s made sales go up? I can imagine the Mario movie also pushed people to buy a Switch.
Anytime i see this dudes face i rest easy knowing i will learn sales data of switch products in the UK.
And also probably the Mario movie reinvigorating people into casual gaming.
I finally upgraded my launch Switch to the Zelda OLED for Tears of the Kingdom – in handheld it’s just so much better. The battery especially is amazing – screen is nice too and also the sounds from the console is better. Just hope they don’t announced Switch 2.0 soon
Got my Zelda OLED this past weekend. Been putting tons of hours in it. Really enjoying The Messenger, despite how lost I keep getting.
Debating starting Octopath 2… but if I do there’s no way I’ll be done in time for Tears of the Kingdom, so maybe I should pick something smaller.
Bro who tf is this guy 💀
A local retro store is selling the Zelda Edition for a 100$ markup.
Or I can drive across town and get it for retail at Target.
