Can the Chibi-Robo game actually be similar to the earlier titles?

That series would (probably) be in a much better spot if we actually got another Chibi-Robo game, instead of whatever Photo Finder or Zip Lash were trying to be.

  2. Three_Froggy_Problem

Oh god please give us another Kuru Kuru Kururin

  3. negative_four

    Don’t do that… don’t give me hope

  4. Gavintendo

Kuru Kuru Kururin would be great, but as a download exclusive with a lower price. Nobody would pay £50/$60 for it lol.

I would LOVE to see a remake of the original Chibi Robo.

Call it “Chibi Robo Recharged”. it practically names itself!

  6. Sheeplenk

Please, Kuru Kuru Kururin. But take the concept as far as it can go. Kind of like that 3D Pong game from
    1999.

  7. 1buffalowang

Please don’t do this. Don’t make me think someone at Nintendo is fighting for Chibi-Robo my heart can’t take it.

  8. Sky_Ninja1997

I can hear Scott the Woz breathing heavily

I’d love to see a remake of chibi robo. I stupidly sold it as a kid and really want to play it. Watch Nintendo do a digital only release for only a month then act like nobody wants chibi robo games again.

I like that James specifically calls out people who only want to get at “the big toys” at Nintendo. In the most polite way possible he says “Nintendo’s already got those covered. Let’s bring back more the weird stuff.” Which is probably how they ended up with Advance Wars in the first place. They were down for anything, and Intelligent Systems was tired of people from the West asking for Wars back.

The third Chibi-Robo game for DS — the one that was never localized — is damn good. Shit needs to come over asap

Okay, but given that *Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash* was a flop, I think that series is dead.

Would be great to give Chibi-Robo a fair shot, bundled with the sequel would be dope.

I have tried looking for the original but it’s super expensive now; I remember when GameStop couldn’t get rid of it and priced it down to 10 bucks.

Oh please I would LOVE more Chibi Robo. Such a unique and fun game. Zip Lash was a stupid way to determine if the game deserved more

It would be cool if it was “pseudo open world” (open world for someone like Chibi) where it’s like 2-3 houses at the end of a cul de sac and a small park or something

Noooo do the DS advance wars games first

  16. edcculus

As long as they don’t make it look like Paw Patrol, I’m good.

Personally I’d love if WayForward could make Wario Land title, whether that be remake of the gb games or a new entry.

  18. LegacyLancer

Ik this wasn’t mentioned but what about battalion wars? Would love a remake of that on the switch.

  19. SparkyMuffin

Oh is rhat why they put Kuru Kururin? Get people excited for more GBA classic icons that stayed in the early 2000s.

  20. ertaboy356b

Give us a proper Wario Land instead, or remake Wario Land 3.

  21. Will be interesting to hear his thoughts on how to ruin that one…

  22. I would love a KKK sequel, but I don’t know where else they could take it. There’s nothing you could possibly add to make it better.

EDIT: Hey random redditor searching my post history, please understand you don’t have the context.

For whatever reason I read Chibi as Custom as wow that was a throwback I need to happen now.

  24. Kidtendo

Chibi Robo would be an amazing surprise if given the opportunity. It was one of my favorite games on the Gamecube. Was sad to hear that the company behind Chibi Robo had closed a few years ago. At least there’s Misc. A Tiny Tale to look forward to.

  25. Frogstophe

Wouldn’t say no to a new Kuru Kuru Kururin.

  26. Codebreakerx29

Kuru has no chance against peoples nostalhia for chibi robo 🙁

  27. corruptboomerang

Am I the only one who thinks they really should have just made a new addition to the franchise?

  28. flyingfishcroissant

I loved Kuru Kuru Kururin as a kid. I started playing it on NSO now. The music takes me back 🙂 A remake would be awesome.
