i will be honest, i dont buy remotes, i just invite people for presencial raids, for me this didnt affect me a bit, but i understand the concern. The boost in xl for presencial raids is even a boost so i cant say this made my game harder, maybe less people acept the invites.
I never thought of competing in the master league, mainly for the xl candy required, it was absurd even before the raid nerf
I uninstalled because they're making the game worse not better by changing remote raid passes. I struggled to raid and was on the verge of quitting until I found a poke raid finder app and remote raid passes were the only thing that made it possible to do raids. No one has time to go out and waste time waiting for strangers that aren't going to be there to help raid. F niantic.

Spoofing on main account for raids just isn't worth it if youve invested thousands since 2016 like i have. You'll eventually mess up cooldown and get banned.
It also costs alot of dust to trade from alt accounts to main if you aren't BFs.

not gonna lie, I loved the game but playing it knowing I was supporting Niantic is what made me feel like I shouldn't be playing it. I loved the game but Niantic doesn't deserve any support from anyone

I think the thing about the copyright/ trademark is largely to do with that meme of their logo with the sinking Titanic with the balloon flying off
I noticed this remote raid price hike had completely killed the ability to shiny hunt raid species. Local communities of people willing to meet up for raids simply don't exist anymore except raid hour, and in my area the place where anyone does meet up is at least half an hour's walk from my house. I have 5 local gyms within a 10 minute walk of my house that I used to raid regularly, with a team of around 10-15 people where at least 5 would regularly join me remotely every raid hour so I could raid locally with help from my online friends. That mini community simply doesn't exist anymore, No one is spending meaning no one can help me with raids as they wont just buy passes willy nilly anymore, hence I can't complete any legendary raids as I don't have time to trek to the city centre and back on a Wednesday evening. That's me living very close to 5 gyms, I dread to think how remote players are fairing, at least I can do 1 and 3 star raids, they probably can't even do that.
I had a bad feeling where this was going even before they did this. Not too long ago you coild get lucky and get a legendary from pvp now the percentage is so obscure its not even worth mentioning.

I'm not spending a dime, I even have gift cards I could use and I refuse. I'm barely hanging onto this game by a thread and it breaks my heart. Not bc the game is so amazing, but the community. Did Android users notice that Pokemon Go went from #1 Top Grossing Adventure Game to #3? I did. That must be some sort of loss of revenue.
Damn dude, that's a bummer that you have to buy pokeballs 🙁 I just get them by spinning many stops on the way to and from work. Niantic is gonna miss out on TONS of revenue especially from rural and disabled players.
