How does that drop compare to everyone else in the home-tech industry? A lot of the boom in recent years was from the pandemic. Everyone is experiencing lower demand for consoles and PCs right now. They bought new stuff already, and they’re getting out of the house more now.
Lower hardware sales are to be expected as the Switch ages and everyone who wants one already has one. Software sales are the key now. Zelda TotK releases in a few days. That will be the better tell on continued Switch profitability, at least this fiscal year.
