Since I just started playing this game in December I'm pretty much playing catch up . I have found a group to raid with back in February so I'm getting to do a lot of in person raids . That Regidrago was àlmost impossible to catch for some reason . Now I'm waiting on the good one to come back .

You don't need to miss events. But you should skip paying for them.
I think there are a few costumes like the Luffy hat and Fragment hat pikachus that might not come back but yeah… Unless it’s a special promotion I think everything will get recycled
Here's how I look at it. You're not missing out on anything because if you're patient everything comes back out eventually. It's what made uninstalling this game so much easier.

I don't care for PVP (it's rigged anyway) so all I want is to fill out the dex and max the ones I like, so re-releasing old Pokemon with slightly better moves isn't worth anything to me. The money I've spent on the game has dropped down to nearly nothing

The Togetic Community Day happened during the Pokémon International Championships in London and I was there and too busy competing in it so I didn’t catch any Shiny Togetic for my first time since the Squirtle Community Day although during the original Swinub Community Day I was also at a Pokémon Regional Championships tournament but I luckily still managed to catch one Shiny Swinub on that day

Fomo used to affect me in the earlier days of Pogo but not much anymore. Even the changes just make me care less about new events. If Niantic thinks these changes will push me and others back to the old way of playing, they are mistaken. Now I’m just playing easy events like community days while sending my shinies to Home.
I tried so hard to climb ranks in GBL last season and acquired some meta pokemon to do better this season, but now my motivation is gone. I didn't even participate in Go Battle Day this time around. I just play to hunt shinies now, but my main focus used to be PvP.
Seriously, why do you think they keep having events on holidays. I know not everyone celebrates Easter and Mother’s Day. But they’re pretty important to a lot of people in the US and Niantic is a US company. Probably has something to do with money/ greed 🤷
I did notice that they keep bringing back Pokémon that have been in the gyms before in raids, but the problem is like you said they take so very long to bring them back. It’s just grueling to wait for all of them to come back in to decide whether we want to Reid or not now that all these changes are taking place. I kind of understand what you mean by the slow drip of having them come back eventually, but there’s a lot of Pokémon I still really need to go after and I haven’t gotten them yet. A good handful that you mentioned mythicals and legendary‘s I really need to have and I don’t have them yet in any form especially the legendary birds and Palkia and dialga. I do hope that this summer will be eventful with bringing back those Pokémon to the gyms. I also would like to see who else is still playing because after all the scandals with the raid passes, and things changing in the game it’s making it hard for people to want to play or people have just given up on the game and I’m hanging on for dear life pretty much to see whether this game survives or not.
I really appreciate all your insights and thank you so much for posting a videos. They are inspiring and I really do understand where you’re coming from when you say that things are being placed room methodically and specific holidays. I really feel that something more is there with that like there’s an agenda that’s being followed on purpose for that reason but I understand what you mean about keeping things on a neutral regular playing field because I am in the same boat myself.

I won’t give another dime to Niantic. I spent money every month…..but haven’t in at least a year. Not any more!!
So I’ve only been playing for 2 years now and am wondering when armored Mewtwo is coming back? Any clue on that? Why is it practically impossible to fill a Pokédex regardless of the time you put in. You have to travel or spoof and I’m not spoofing and losing my account. A bit ridiculous. If you want have regional Pokémon, you need to at least make them available in raids, once in a while. FOMO keeps us going. BS tactics. Love your rants, keep them up.
