‘SuperMarioBrosMovie’ is now the highest grossing movie ever in Mexico 🇲🇽 in USD with $82.4m. It surpassed the previous record holder Spider-Man: No Way Home’s $81.156m.

   It’s strangely heartwarming how much the Latin community seems to love Mario.

   I still remember when Odyssey launched and Twitter was in an uproar about the sand kingdom outfit, but Mexicans were actually ecstatic lol

   I went to the movies to see it twice. The second time I invited a friend and her gf because they are currently working on their home and couldn’t find a good time to go to the movies (plus they are a bit short on cash) and I didn’t mind at all watching it again.

   Is obviously very kid oriented, the story isn’t that deep but just by with the easter eggs was enough to keep me entertained and loving it. I really wish they keep pushing these movies, as this first one was very high quality.

   Here is me praying for a Zelda one, for a little bit more mature audience.

   And to think Mario caused an uproar with Odyssey in Twitter just because of his costume in Toastarina. Just proves that Twitter is full of idiots….
