For the max investment column. This was first discovered by Snow, who managed to do it with a non-EX SC Shauna – https://twitter.com/mizoreawayuki/status/1642673197823967232?s=61&t=gKZB_Ieaupv-TcEWxtae-Q
This pretty much boils down to a Potion MPR clear, but there are certain things you can look out for to gauge how many you need. For one, getting early Sp Atk debuffs on Cresselia has a huge effect in letting you save up your potions since she doesn’t have any migitation for Sp Atk debuffs. The same goes for Defense and Sp Def debuffs, which can improve your Tackle and sync damage respectively.
Using your trainer move right before Thunder Wave also lets you buy some free turns early on and make you stack syncs more easily. Some of my attempts had that second TM last long enough to block the third Thunder Wave, but I’m not sure how to make that consistent.
Bar 3 needs you to hit some Mirror Shots for the sync to guarantee the KO. I had two attempts end at Bar 3 second half because the sync wasn’t enough to complete the stage. Of course, this clear missed the sync crit, so I had to rely on Mirror Shot to finish it, but if the sync critted it would’ve been enough and you don’t have to worry about Hyper Beam.
Despite this clear being incredibly annoying to get, I still think this is an easier solo than Terrakion, though it’s harder than Uxie. While both of those have Accuracy debuffs to bail you out of certain moves, Shauna’s Ground weakness makes Terrakion a lot harder than it should be.
