A lot could be said about the wasted potential of having all these resources and revenue yet still rushing out half-baked games. It’s sad, but unless things improve I’m done with this franchise, even though it’s the one that got me into video games when I was a kid.
At least at the end of the day, we’ll still have bangers like Platinum and BW2.

Scarlet and Violet are really good games at their core, crazy fun gameplay loop and a well-designed world. It’s a shame that they didn’t have more time in the oven to iron out the technical problems.

Genuine question, who is this website intended for? It’s very stylish and well put together, but I feel like most consumers would just go to the regular Pokemon website to get more info

To the surprise of absolutely nobody. I’m still very much a Pokemon fan and have largely had good experiences for all but one Pokemon generation, but I’m with everyone who firmly believes TPC/Game Freak/whoever makes the video games needs to take their time with future games. Scarlet and Violet proved to me that the devs truly do care about the franchise and are putting forth their best effort, but the unforgiving, rigid schedule they have to launch products according to doesn’t allow for the games to be as good as I know they can be.

We all wanted that 3d world Pokémon. Now that we got it, we would have much rather had the classic top down that we are used to. I would have rather had a platinum remake but its still cool gen 4 got one. Despite it being my favorite one i still haven’t finished it, i haven’t even touched arceus despite buying it.
I just deleted Pokémon go yesterday as well. I haven’t played in forever and its starting to feel too much like they just want your money.
Stop settling for mediocre games not just in this franchise but everywhere else
