Faithless company. If the customers can't have faith in the company, how can its shareholders? These guys need to wake the fuck up and bring this game to its full potential before pokemon cuts this cancerous tumor of embarrassment off. Not that official pokemon has a moral high ground to do that from either these days tbh. But still. And I'm so tired of the coastal city elitism. Not just in this game but all of pokemon. Ya know, there are other places in the world than just fucking Tokyo, New York city, Los Angeles, London, etc. All the pokemon events missed over 25 years. All the content being missed out on this game for the last 7. Can't even invite people to these raids. Fucking impressive. I'm so tired of all this shit! I can't wait to start releasing my own games to combat today's stupid bullshit game industry. Funding it on a Walmart paycheck isn't exactly going very fast though… damn. I can't wait to show this generation the era of gaming we grew up with. Heavily quality checked, complete on release, no pay to win, earn all rewards, focus tested to be genuinely fun with all the bullshit getting cut out before launch. Indie games are doing good with it, but they're so small. I need to become world known with the big bois and knock their completely out of touch complacent greedy asses down a few billion pegs.

Yes, the useless item that doesn’t work remains in your bag. Meanwhile the raid pass and revives and potions used up do not return to your bag.

Kiwi here & try not being able to catch the Mewtwo you've defeated in a raid! I/we had to literally sit in our cars (the weather was terrible outside where I am) helplessly watching the timer run down for 100+seconds on a Mewtwo with 0 health left & having to hope that at least 4 others in the lobby also had the bug so enough people could relobby & try to get it again- if you are the only person or too few of you get the bug, it is a wasted pass on top of the insult of the lost Mewtwo.
Then when the raids do work, the catching part of the raid is broken as the balls bounce right off the Mewtwo while it is just standing there making it impossible to catch regardless of the size of the circle.
I was pressed for time this morning as we had prior plans to go sailing, so I knew I might not get even a single Mewtwo raid in, but I had the good luck to find a cluster of 5 Mewtwo raids with 17 to 26mins left on them before leaving. Imagine the disappointment when having to do the first raid twice (which included waiting for enough other players to enter the lobby again) & having to be so slow & precise for the third/second raid with throwing balls before finally realizing nothing you do will result in the ball actually hitting the Mewtwo so there is no chance of catching it by the last ball then to find out 2 of the 5 raids had despawned & the 3rd of the 5 raids had no other players raiding in it by that point, which meant thanks to the first buggy raids you get a single nonshiny 2* Mewtwo out of the 5 raids you could & should have been able to participate in given 9 others were raiding at the same time.
I'm actually really glad the shadow raids will be done by the time we get back as the buggy mess that is the raid system really makes for some disappointing game play.

Did you see the video of the two people duoing the shadow mewtwo poke? Blew my mind man. I didn't think it would be possible.
Do we get the raid pass and the raid boss back in our bag too while we're at it? These bugs cause us to lose to the boss so I want to be compensated for my time if I'm having to test shoddy implementations since they can't find the staff for it.
I swear, every executive meeting must look something like, "Well, we pissed everyone off last month, how can we do better?" "Oh, let's announce a new feature with a coveted pokemon as a prize…then break it."
If they make bugs happen. We talk about them. According to their trend in losing players they’re thinking bad press is better than no press.
I guess they dont Care, cause to many people still spending hundrets to thousands of Dollars every month. The Money Maschine still works for Niantic, thanks to the "i still need to pay for every fail Event" Idiots Out there.
I'm looking forward to seeing what folks in the earlier time zones have to report on this, especially with T3 raids needing 8 gems to bring the boss out of enraged mode when each player can only use 5 gems per raid, and T5 raids likely needing even more.
Niantic should make it so that there's no cool down period for each gem (the thing they're trying to pass off as a bug), lest everyone's gems are going to constantly cancel each other out and not affect the Pokemon. Also, the 8+ gem requirement for higher tier raids is going to make them extremely difficult for players who are solo, rural/disabled, or have limited time available to raid.
You don’t really need to use the gem anyway it’s like dodging it does nothing just keep on tapping that’s all you need to do in raids

How is Peridot pay to win? All I can do is feed them and throw a ball. What am I missing? I guess there is these archetypes you're supposedly able to get badges for, so unless that does something I'm not sure why anyone would care, it's just another thing to feed and throw a ball at, and really it doesn't do anything. Is there a stupid high level I need to reach to unlock competitive events?
I know they keep pushing the breeding aspect, but except for the free launch nest I'm yet to see a free nest or nest part. I'm also yet to see any potential breeding partner with 3* or 4* abilities that aren't locked, so why would I use my one nest creating basically the same Dot I am currently using?
What am I missing?
We just did a shadow Mewtwo raid just now with 8 trainers and just done it with 14 seconds to go and the gems did not really do much for ages. We each dropped about 4 gems each, and some came back and had to be redropped. Over 18 Pokémon fainted in multiple accounts just to complete this.

Watching the videos of trainers doing the 3-star shadow raids and trying to use the gems, I had this sneaking suspicion that the gems just weren't working. Half the time they didn't even get used – the count would go down, then back up, and the defense of the shadow pokemon didn't seem to go down at all. Granted – the trainers were usually solo-ing, and that was what I was hoping was the reason… but I don't know. Just doesn't appear to do anything at all, and therefore I remain highly skeptical.

did 10 raids with 4 ppl , fun , but then MewTwo stoped to take gems , Oneshots and take no dmg , after 4 try’s no one got anymore gems and revives …. for this sheeeeppp ….

im very confused. but maybe thats why i struggled with some raids so much. shadow mewtwo wasnt a problem as we had plenty of players to take it down. but this really sucks for the other days where there might have been less people raiding shadow raids…
Can you imagine how much money niantic could've made if they would've let the unlimited raids for shadow mewtwo. Instead you get 5 chances to get a perfect or close to perfect. Niantic is dumb as hell.

So, I drove over an hour out of my way “ to the city” to “touch grass”others did show for the mewtwo raids the few that actually spawned. However, the mew raids were sporadic af and certainly NOT walkable. Niantics whole reason for nerfing the remote raid passes is 💯% BS. No shiny no hundo and some lady backed into my fing PARKED CAR. I’m OVER IT.. If it CAN’T be done near me then f it. I DON’T NEED IT!!!
Lmaoo. I just came to YouTube to figure out how to use it properly, cause I was in a raid, op became enraged, I used the gem, nothing happened, it allowed to keep pressing gems, so used 3 and nothing happened, dude kept raging. It allowed me to use 4 gems in a fight with no effects, and 3/4 did return to my bag but I thought I was doing something wrong lmao.
