First time I use a skarmory in catch cup is the first time I see a magcargo lol
Ive noticed that GBL seems to hard counter you a fair bit less when you take a few days to a week between your sets. I did like 2 or 3 sets one day then nothing for a few days and managed to hit legend in less than 450 battles cos i didnt get hard countered much. Its been that way for me the past 3 seasons.
Exactly, just want them to give us random match ups and then we'll see whose at the top of the leaderboard. Why should we regularly play in order to reach legend instead of just rely on our skills and reach legend in limited time.
Current win rate – 51%
Cope harder, hitting legend is easy as long as you know the counts, run normal teams (not awak+alola exeggutor like you do) and sometimes predict what your opp will do. I've never failed to hit legend since I started trying. You're just bad and got legend only cause of hard grinding when nobody else had xl for ul/ml. Just accept it
I have played 1345 games with 680 wins.
Same as my friends i have 50% win/lose ratio
51%-52% win rate. I average about 1500 battles a season. It's always the same. Pokeak always coming with the facts.
I like the rant stuff. Don't say anything that will turn people off, too much where it ends up hurting you, but just know that we agree with the stuff you are saying. Even the slightly political stuff.
Win percentage is 51.6 in 1400 battles. didn't even hit veteran. 2300 was the highest I got. But I was able to cheese the reward encounters today for a falinks before the rank reset.
Its literally not even the algorithm as much as its the ridiculous lag that occurs all the time. Im on 100mbps wifi. Its clearly on Niantics side and it is screwing me out of at least one win per set

How about random for first 4 battles and someone above you as a boss for battle 5? And the boss selection is only based on rank not on what Pokémon they are playing.
Bro you throw one two turn move and then throw a charge move when opponent has five turn fast move. You let opponent fast moves sneak by throwing at incorrect timings. Earlier even if you throw at incorrect timungs it was enough to hit legend just based on good shield management and team creation, but now this is not possible. Everyone at 2700-3000 knows how to time their moves, knows how to maximise energy. Your videos are a proof you dont do any of this. In fact I doubt you even know about fast move timing
6:25. Thats why dragonbreath needs a damage nerf. Its ridiculously broken with how laggy the game is at times. Been killed so many times by that move as i reach a charge move.
At 11:12 you thew a move after 3 counters against their Kyogre letting Kyogre a full waterfall sneak in. They get extra damage and extra energy for free. The correct timing would've been after 4 counters. This way you gain 1 more countee damage and energy for the same waterfalls damage done to you as previously.
Most people know this skill now. Your videos are full of making these type of errors. Its not possible to hit legend without knowing this skill now.
And that is the difference between losing and winning at this elo. Until you learn it, you will keep losing very close matches which you could've easily won
Bro I had the exact same happen. Charge move lag where I couldn’t ATK and it cost me couple 5-0 or even a 3-5. I thought it was my internet but going all 4 games fine then all of a sudden the 5th game that I need a win to go positive or get w 5-0 all of a sudden I can’t atk a few seconds or press my charge move and the opponent gets to his move in time when I been had mine ready. Niantic and their stupid bots

Im sitting at 57% and I honestly can go 5-0 and then the next set will be 1-4 or 0-5. At this point I dont want to hit legend. Ive always wanted to but I prefer to play just for stardust. I have plenty of pokemon built but honestly it does not feel worth it anymore.

My game must be broken I spend money weekly but it feels like I'm on hard mode I mix up my teams often and I'm still losing 4out five or losing all five lately it feels impossible to rank up I refuse to spend more money at this point its frustrating
I have been stuck in rank 20 for a month I really wanted the Palmer jacket for ace and just gave up because there was no way I could rank up
Your team is ABA weak to dragonite as well as zacian with WC which is super common right now because of Ho-Oh and Lugia because they were in raids recently.

Seeing how much I get my ass kicked, I do play through everything and get the wins sometimes.
My Proof that there is a algorithm: I tanked down to 600 ELO for Go Battle Day. Then I went on a tear with a regirock, pelipper, pidgeot team in ultra league. And about 15 wins into a 48 win streak EVERY team was rocking a jolteon or ampharos switch with a leafeon or another grass type. I was still winning everybattle because they were usually under leveled, but I was getting straight hard countered for 30 + battles in a row until I got a bad set. Then I got a couple decent match ups again until it started happening again. It was ridiculous
I was at 2497 and Niantic said No… dropped back to 2232 before I started climbing again and I reached 2532 and then dropped back below 2400.

i hit 2992 this season, a week ago. Dropped back to 2900 but i persisted and managed to hit legend 4 days after being stuck on the 2900 elo range. Got a shiny pikachu libre as a reward, i cant beleive it. Love your videos Poke, we all know your're more than capable of hitting legend, don't let the hater get under your skin. Cheers!
Had the same issue, last two seasons was 4-1/5-0 got up to 2970+ then 5 sets of 0-5/1-4 out of nowhere, even after shifting team after 3 losses. was closer to 54% win rate then sh*t counters for a week.
I feel the same way.. I hit legend multiple times, but I feel like lately, it's almost impossible to hit legend. I was 2993 ELO, and when on a 0-20 losing streak. I stopped playing after that. Lol
My legend streak ended this season, 8 straight season I hit legend but I can finally retire now. I'll still gives u a thumbs up and good luck everyone next season. 👍🏼

The Algorithm is geared to keep you playing for as long as possible because very few people grind GBL tbh. Data is currency 100 percent. I was disappointed in twodots for saying tin foil hat about the data. Make an updated version of the comment video saying what you actually think not the watered down that it was.
I Hit legend in S8,10&13 these three times only, and tasted the 2900 elo choke for so so many times, just no way to gain elo at 29XX but just lose, keep losing to the 2600-2700 elo base for almost a month or even longer!!! but finally some positive sets will come and 27sth and then 2800 elo floor!! and 2-3 good easy sets suddenly showed up!! I totally gave up this season GBL anyway, just finish the basic 500Win and at 2680 elo : )
I feel this poke, I was also at 2999, and then I dropped almost 1900 elo, and barely made my way back up there and I was in the pits, but I’m a dumbass cuz I used a fucking team triple weak to a very common Pokémon named g-fisk

Sitting at 53 percent currently at ace- I have tried different teams. Hard countered. Lagging screen load. All of that- I got frustrated. However making it to ace first time felt great – I have been at 20 for the past 4 seasons
I agree with those who say the algorythm is real, but I don't believe Niantic lets anyone climb to legend easier. The biggest evidence here is there's a lot of mistakes and bad choices in your gameplay
So which is it? Do you lose because you try spicy teams or because there’s an algorithm targeting you? You’re the biggest clown I’ve ever encountered
